knife sharpeningHaving problems keeping your kitchen knives sharp? We can help! Your knives will be carefully ground on a water wheel (no danger of losing temper due to overheating) and honed on a leather strop. Unless a specific angle is requested all western knives will be sharpened to ~20° and all Asian knives will be sharpened to ~16°.

Standard turnaround time is 48 hours. Prices are at the discretion of the sharpener and are determined at the time of sharpening.

Basic sharpening up to an 8” blade $3.50
Per inch above 8” $0.50

Tip repair (if chip is larger than 1/16”) $2.50

Edge repair, minor $2.00

Edge repair, major (per chip larger than 1/16”) $3.00

Serrated edges up to 8” $5.00
Per inch above 8” $0.50
